Welcome to Age Concern Stevenage.

 

Age Concern Stevenage is a small local charity, working specifically for Stevenage people and offering a wide range of free and confidential information for the over 50's, their family and carers. As a "Friend of Age UK", we have the support and backing of Age UK Hertfordshire and the Age UK national charity, while retaining our independence.

 

We hold a very popular Benefits Advice surgery bi-monthly on Thursdays and a bi-weekly Footcare health clinic. Contact us for appointments.

 

We also took over the Stevenage Shopmobility service so we have mobility scooters and wheelchairs for hire, both for use around the town or to take away for longer holiday periods.

 

We are run by a loyal family of volunteers that care and are proud to offer the friendly face to face help that so many services and organisations no longer have. If you call during our opening hours a real person even answers the phone!

 

But more importantly, if you just want to pop in for a rest, cuppa and listening ear...please do and we guarantee you will find something of interest or help here for you!
